A HUGE thank you to Sherry and reunion committee for a fabulous, successful event! Thank you to everyone who showed up. It was so great to see everyone again and I had such a blast! I only wish that I'd had more time to sit down and talk to more of you individually. The time seemed to fly and the temperature seemed to soar!:) You are all such beautiful people (inside and out), and it made my year to see all of you again. I can't wait for the next one...hopefully in five more years! God bless!

Thanks again, Sherry, Karen and Lindie! Friday night was a great time. Seriously nervous when I walked up with Bridget, but didn't want to leave by the end. I had some great conversations and it was awesome to reconnect with so many of you. I'd love to mention some of you, but don't want others to feel left out. You are all equally important. . . but some were like icing on the cake to me - hopefully you know who you were.

Would love to see a 25 year get together in an informal setting like we had! Saturday night had to help out at the Kenny Chesney concert - much too long!

Bridget, thanks for bringing the bucket & making it cute for money collection. . . Travis, thanks for being so dedicated in helping the cause and taking it around!

Yes we will do a bar only (thing like friday) in 5 years. But the site will be up forever so anyone who wants to post a get together, just do it through announcements and make it happen. You know, I can just be a guest every once in awhile. :) hehehehe

I would like to say THANK YOU to the reunion committee as well. What a awesome time I had all weekend. It was really great to spend time as a class again and catch up on everyone's lifes. We really are fine cause we are the class of '89!!!

For those of you that weren't able to make it to any of the events I am sorry you missed out. You were truely missed. Please try to make it to one in the future. I promise you won't be sorry.

For those of you that were last minute comers on Saturday night ... THANK YOU for coming.

For those of you that came from out of state/town..THANK YOU for taking time to come. It was great to see you.

Ok. So now that we had the reunion...nobody has anything to say?? What is up with that???? I know that Curtis and I had a great time talking with the ones that we got to and enjoying everyone's company. I want to say sorry to those that I didn't get a chance to and also say I am truely glad for the ones that I did.

I am so disgusted at what I keep reading about the reunion money! Not everyone is a "stand up" person, and we all know I use to be a shit myself...But come on you guys!!! What if the tables were turned at it was YOU who miss placed the envelope and the funds were coming out of YOUR pocket??? Money coming from YOUR kids school clothes, YOUR mortgage, YOUR utilities, YOUR vacation fund????? Sherry busted her butt to make this happen for us, and also the other people involved, but SHERRY is the one who is out of pocket! How can you guys lay your heads down at night knowing she is asking for you to re-write your checks and you wont to it? Is this a lesson you want to teach your children? You can call your bank, stop payment for at the most 20.00, take the 20.00 off the balance and send her the money! I wasn't even there and am going to send her some money myself, and trust me, we are having major financial trouble ourselves...like we just lost our house! Karma is a bitch you guys and find some compassion within yourselves and help her out! Again, what if it were YOU? Even if you paid her already, can't we all just send her $5 - 10 bucks? Please? Do you want a 30 year reuniuon? If you do, why not set it up yourself and see what kind of time and money go into doing it. Sherry deserves our help! I will stop bitching and ask nicely,,,,Please everyone, please help Sherry out even if it is $5.00, anything helps. Please,please please.

Thank you Rhonda for your words of wisdom. I did not go to the reunion either, but have seen and heard the time and effort that Sherry and the others put into it. My heart is saddened by the fact that people are either too lazy or too selfish to cancel their checks and re-write a new one for Sherry. It's not just the money, but the time and effort that was put into this reunion to make an enjoyable evening for you, her classmates. I offered to pay Sherry for a ticket because I was feeling bad for her and she showed true character and said that she could not in good conscience take my money. That just shows the kind of stand up, do right person that she is. Now, stand up and do right by her. Please re-write the checks.

Thank you soooo much and that seriously made me tear up. So many people have offered to donate and pay when they didn't attend the reunion at all and I can't accept that but totally appreciate it. I don't want anyone to pay for something they didn't attend.

Hey Girls :) OMG Kira Olsen, long time no talk....I remember coming to your house in like 4th grade or something like that....Then we grew apart but sounds like we came back to the same page as adults, having morals makes for excellent character (not that you ever didn't have morals, mine were sometimes questionable). I love that! And Lindie, thanx for your message too! You were always a sweet chickie!!! I truely am sick by all of this. Is is possible that maybe those that wrote the checks don't know about this issue? Just trying to "excuse" their bad behavior...I appreciate you not wanting to accept our funds Sherry, but just like when we donate to the hospital, too bad, you are gonna get it :) You deserve the help and for those of us who didn't attend, we do appreciate your efforts for us to have had the option to come! I know with my life, I couldn't have dreamt to have the time to put out that you all did! I have grown to appreciate the air I breathe having gone thru what I have in my years. You get back what you put out there and Sherry you will get back, it just may not be right now, but we all know the full circle theory.......What goes around will come around. I thank all of you who made this reunion happen, your time, efforts and thoughts I am sure made it a great weekend. I still wish I could see or hear about my high school love...I always wondered about him but sounds like he crawled into a hole....HMMMM

Hey Sherry! And class of 89, We just got back from seeing my mom and I am still giddy from the class reunion! I just want to say thank you to all the people who helped out to pull this whole reunion off. Sherry, THANK YOU SO MUCH for ALL that you did. You were the mastermind behind it all, It was a perfect weekend! Worth every one of the 3,000 miles flown to make it to the reunion!I think YOUR AWESOME! Seeing all the familiar faces of NTHS class of 89 made me realize the great friendships we have are so very special! Love you guys!

I also had a GREAT time at the reunion! It was great to see everyone again and to chat about life and love from high school to the present with everyone. I'm still waiting to see some of the pictures that were taken. I'm sure there are some videos floating around also that would be fun for those that weren't able to make it.

I see that you aren't taking money from those that didn't attend. But you didn't say anything about those of us that did :)

And man Jeff! You still can move buddy. Can't wait for our wheelchair/walker dance off at the 30 year! I wonder if I can find that pink tutu between now and then? haha.

So...I have to say everyone knows that I was not a rule breaker in high school. My hubbies 30 year reunion is this year and some of the classmates thought it would be a good idea to paint a bridge here in Midland. So Friday night we went out at 10:00 and started the work. We had cars and firetrucks going by honking in appreciation for covering up the CRAP that is on the bridge currently. So tonight we went back to finish the job and post all the names of those who have passed. A GOD DAMN 20 something year old PCS came by and said "This isn't my bridge and it is not your bridge, so maybe you should go." FYI IT IS MY BIDGE I PAY THE TAXES!!! So recon about 4 bells and going to finish the good work!!! Painting a memorial is better than "Tagging" about how some band sucks or so-and-so screwed someone else. Thanks for letting me vent...

Yippee!!! I am the first to post something in 2010!!! I don't think I have posted anything since the reunion so I just want everyone to know that I had a great time and I LOVED seeing everyone. If I acted strangely on Friday night it's because I was literally so nervous/anxious that I made myself sick! I was fighting a migraine and I did not feel good at all! I finally left because I thought I was going to puke. The anticipation and excitement of it all just put me right over the edge! I used to do the same thing at Christmas time when I was a kid. Do you remember those paper chains that we used to make at school? They were green and red and we would cut one each day until it was finally Christmas. Well, that slow build up about killed me! I'd be like OMG, OMG it's almost Christmas...OMG it's Christmas Eve...OMG Santa's coming!!! Get in bed, sleep...SLEEP!! I have to fall asleep or Santa won't bring me any presents!!! What?? It's Christmas morning??? Santa brought me a giant milk chocolate version of himself??? OMG...this is SOOO good...yum, yum, yum. OK, not feeling so good now. MOM!!! Too late...it's a big chocolate mess.

So, thank you all for being my big, solid milk chocolate Santa that made me sick! You're the best!
